We have one Indian shop nearby ,and I get all my Indian stuffs from there, they even have a butcher there but till few months ago we always used to buy chicken from Supermarkets only, but one day just for a change we bought chicken from the butcher and from from that day onwards we never bought supermarket ones,the chicken from butchers tastes so good and fresh and even the gravy that I prepares have the full essence of chicken.The interesting fact was that the butcher there was a malayalee student.Yes you read it right...he was an MBA student !! Can u believe that after doing MBA in London he couldnt get any descent job and since he had to repay his loans he decided to take this butcher job which gives more money than other part time jobs.Finally after serving us for more than 3-4 months he packed his bags to Kerala last month and the new boy has taken his position now,looks like another student ...sigh

Chicken wings- 500gm
Kashmiri redchilly powder - 1 tbs
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tbs
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin Powder- 3/4 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 1/2 tsp
Yogurt - 2 tbs
Lime juice - 1 tbs
kasoori methi powder - 1 tsp
Salt
Oil - 2 tbs
Preparation

1.Marinate the chicken wings with all the ingredients and keep it atleast for 1-2 hrs or preferably overnight.
2.Place them in a preheated oven at 180 degree centrigrade for 25 - 30 minutes,turning the sides halfway through.

I agree with buying fresh meat from butchers and fresh fish from fish mongers...before I used to think they are more expensive, but actually they cost more or less the same and taste way better, also you can get the cut you want etc...do you live in London?
