Chilly chicken


For marination

Boneless chicken 3/4 kg
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
soyasauce - 2tsp
Egg - 2
Ginger - Garlic paste - 2 tsp
Cornflour- 3tsp

Marinate the chicken with all the above ingredients and keep it aside for 1/2 an hour.

For Gravy
Onions - 2 large
Green pepper (Capsicum) - 1
Ginger - Garlic chopped - 1 tsp
Cornflour - 5 tsp
Tomato Sauce - 5 tbs
Soya Sauce - 4 tbs
Sweet chilly Sauce or chilly sauce (add little sugar to chilly sauce)- 4 tbs
Spring Onions - a small bunch


Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the chicken and keep it aside .
In a pan saute chopped onions till it become soft. Add chopped ginger and garlic,Chopped green pepper and white portion of spring onions and saute for few minutes. Add all the sauces and mix well.Cook for 2-3 minutes. Add the fried chicken.Dissolve Cornflour in 1 cup of water and add slowly to the pan. Cook it coverd for few minutes. Garnish with spring onions.
