Rava Fish Fry



Ingredients

Fish - 4 pieces
Red chilly powder - 1 1/2 tbs
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Ginger paste - 1 tbs
Lime juice - 1 tsp
Cury leaves - few
Salt
Rava/Semolina - 1/4 cup
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Preparation
Marinate the fish pieces with all the ingredients except rava and keep it aside for half an hour. Coat the fish pieces in Rava/semolina. In a pan heat some oil and shallow fry the fish .

  13. Wow...Absolutely love this Crispy delicious mouth watering Rava Fish Fry..Its been so long I even saw this kinda recipe using Rava..My mom used to make it this way..I have never tried making it this way though...Brought back beautiful memories.

  17. Wow...salmon..really...now thats inspiration..i shud def try it then..
    we live in north greenwich, zone 2 and i dont have any indian stores nearby...so its always a pain to get indian stuff:(

    How come I missed this dish!!! You know what it means to a Bong as long as fish is concerned!! I am going to try it as soon as I get some indian salmon, or Baracuda. If I dont , I will go for any other fish cant wait. Rava is the trick for fish fry, did not know. Must make this dish when SOMEONE is away , I want to keep the recipe secrete from her.
